Job summary

United Surgical Partners International (USPI) is seeking a Full-Time Preop/PACU/Procedural Registered Nurse for the Urology ASC - Downtown location. You will provide comprehensive nursing care for patients recovering from anesthesia, ensuring safety, comfort and timely discharge planning.

Responsibilities include assisting physicians in procedure rooms, performing conscious sedation tasks as appropriate, and prioritizing patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN school of nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• Current BLS and ACLS; PALS if required by center.
• Minimum 2 years PACU or critical care experience preferred.
• Strong nursing judgment with ability to prioritize workload.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with tasks and conscious sedation.
• Maintain sterile technique and patient safety during procedures.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care from anesthesia to discharge.

Urology ASC - Downtown is hiring a Full-Time PREOP/PACU/Procedural Registered Nurse

PACU Registered Nurse (PACU RN) at Urology ASC - Downtown

The PACU Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. May assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, conscious sedation, and utilizing sterile techniques as deemed appropriate. Will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
• BLS and ACLS Required, PALS if required by the center
• 2 years experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written
