Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to join its unit-based leadership team in Atlanta. The role provides supervision of the nursing operations of a unit and, in the absence of the Manager or Director, may assume 24-hour nursing responsibility.

The successful candidate will be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, with required Georgia RN licensure, BLS certification, and relevant clinical experience in the specialty area.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Multistate license (NLC/eNLC).
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the nursing operations of a unit.
• In the absence of the Manager or Director, may assume 24-hour nursing responsibility.
• Work with a unit-specific patient population.
