Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimal education as required by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification is required.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) credential required.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Ultrasonography or related field and 1+ year of ultrasound experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate sonographic equipment to record diagnostic images.
• Explain procedures and prepare patients for scans.
• Monitor patient safety and comfort during scans.
• Present preliminary findings to physicians.
