Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Must have RD (registered dietitian) credential.
• Ability to relate and communicate well to diverse cultural and ethnic groups; bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with providers and CPSP counselors to identify patients in need of nutrition counseling.
• Establishes treatment plans and communicates with patients regarding program compliance.
• Meets with patients to identify educational needs and provide individual instruction or refer to resources.
• Responsible for CPSP program implementation, documentation, and quality improvement.
