Job summary

VCU Health is seeking a Valet Attendant to provide parking and retrieval services for patients and visitors while delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires the ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles, maintain a neat appearance, and perform quick, accurate data entry when necessary. Expect day/evening rotations, weekend shifts, and weather-related duties.

Qualifications

• Must possess reading and writing skills and comprehend and communicate in English.
• Must be able to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Possess/maintain a valid, non-restricted driver’s license with a neutral or positive driver point balance.
• Virginia Driver’s License with acceptable driver record and positive points.
• Previous professional driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal vehicle parking and retrieval services for parking guests with exceptional customer service.
• Maintain expected personal appearance standards and ensure parking areas are in patient/visitor-ready state.
• Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks to keep parking areas clean and safe.
• Work independently within established guidelines and follow directions; multitask as needed.
• May require weekend work and inclement weather shifts.
