Job summary

sms is seeking a diligent custodian to maintain cleanliness across commercial spaces in Camp Hill, PA. The role covers lighting fixtures, floors, windows, and common areas, with daily maintenance and upkeep responsibilities.

Must be able to perform physical tasks, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment. This is an on-site position with standard cleaning duties and available benefits.

Qualifications

• No prior experience or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in English to customers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms and other work areas.
• Sweeps, scrubs, finishes, and polishes floor.
• Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalwork.
• Washes walls, ceilings, and woodwork.
• Washes windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empties wastebaskets, and empties and cleans ashtrays.
• Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
