Job summary

NPAworldwide is seeking an Emergency Physician in northeastern Alabama with a 12-shift monthly schedule, earning about $560K before OT as a permanent 1099. You will work in an ED serving as a regional referral center for a multi-county population, handling trauma, cardiac, stroke, respiratory, and pediatric emergencies.

Board Certified or Eligible for ABEM or AOBEM and ATLS, ACLS, BLS, PALS are required. Alabama Medical License eligibility is needed.

Qualifications

• 2 years recent Emergency Medicine experience in a hospital setting or just out of residency.
• MD or DO, board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM) or a recent resident
• Eligible for Alabama Medical License
• ATLS, ACLS, BLS, and PALS (All Required)

Responsibilities

• Manage a broad mix of trauma, cardiac events, stroke, respiratory emergencies, pediatric cases, and general acute medical conditions.
• Work in an emergency department serving as a regional referral center for a multi-county population.
• Commit to board status and required certifications for ongoing credentialing.
• Offer a predictable 12-shift monthly schedule and full-time 1099 arrangement.
