Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Omaha seeks an experienced drywall and framing professional to execute interior and exterior assemblies on active projects. You will read plans, set layouts, and install framing and drywall with attention to detail and safety.

You will coordinate with foremen and subcontractors, operate aerial lifts and heavy equipment, and help maintain quality and progress on site while traveling as needed to support multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of commercial drywall experience.
• Ability to understand and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Proficient use of related tools to complete work assignments.
• Ability to measure with ruler or tape accurately.
• Clear and professional communication in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform interior and exterior framing and installation of drywall assemblies.
• Collaborate with Project/Foreman for scheduling and material delivery.
• Transfer layout information from drawings to floors/ceilings.
• Operate equipment including aerial lifts, forklifts, backhoe, skid steer, excavator, and hoist.
• Ensure Turner standards, safety codes, and jobsite security are followed.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, contractors, and vendors.
