Sports & Social Bethesda is seeking a Cocktail Runner to support a busy hospitality venue in Bethesda, MD. The role emphasizes rapid, friendly service and accurate drink delivery to guests while maintaining a professional appearance and adhering to all safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities include assisting guests, describing drinks, and supporting bartenders and kitchen staff. The position may require nights, weekends, and holidays to cover events and peak hours.

Qualifications

• 1 year of serving in a fast-paced food and beverage venue.
• Must speak fluent English; other languages preferred.
• Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local or state government agency.
• May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional appearance standards as directed in the Live! Hospitality Employee Handbook.
• Anticipate and accommodate all the needs of the guests.
• Describe all drinks, beverages, wine and beer comprehensively.
• Provide professional and exceptional service.
• Ensure delivery of all beverages to the guests.
• Keep assigned stations and the venue clean and organized.
• Communicate needs of guests to Front-of-House and Heart-of-House staff and managers.
• Set up cocktail lounge/bar and side stations; perform opening/closing side-work as directed.
• Attend daily pre-shift meetings and any departmental trainings.
