Job summary

Kohler Co. is seeking a friendly Catering Assistant for Woodlake Market in Kohler, WI. The role supports prep, packaging, and delivery of premium catering orders for private events, corporate functions, and in-store gatherings.

The position is casual part-time, onsite with shifts between early morning and evening hours. Candidates should have a high school diploma, be 21+, and able to obtain ServSafe certification; a valid driver’s license is required, with prior catering or hospitality

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 21 years or older and ability to obtain ServSafe certification.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Prior experience in catering, food service, or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs, bend, twist, walk, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and package catering orders according to customer specifications and store standards.
• Ensure all items are fresh, accurately labeled, and beautifully presented.
• Communicate professionally with clients regarding pickup times, delivery, details, and special requests.
• Assist with last-minute changes or adjustments to orders with a solution-focused approach.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of catered events, both in-store and off-site as needed.
• Deliver orders on an as needed basis.
• Maintain a clean and organized catering prep area.
• Monitor inventory of catering supplies and ingredients, and notify management of restocking needs.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Ensure catering equipment is clean, functional, and properly stored.
• Follow dress code and grooming standards that reflect the upscale environment.
• Will complete all duties and requests as assigned by management.
