Job summary

The Local Project is seeking a Partnerships/BD professional to work in our New York office, collaborating directly with the Chief Partnerships Officer to grow revenue, manage relationships, and shepherd deals from first conversation through delivery and renewal.

You will handle proposals, renewals, and performance reporting, ensuring a premium client experience and data-driven decisions to drive future strategy.

Qualifications

• Experience in partnerships/business development with brands in building materials, appliances or furniture is essential.
• You use AI as a core part of your workflow and are excited to push it further.
• You have premium brand storytelling literacy, especially in architecture and design.
• You manage multiple partners and timelines with strong attention to details, contracts and data.

Responsibilities

• Support the Chief Partnerships Officer across the full partnership lifecycle from pitch to renewal.
• Manage day-to-day partner communication with professionalism and warmth to reflect the brand.
• Drive booking forms and contracts to signature before work begins; track terms and timelines.
• Keep CRM (HubSpot) up to date with deal stages, values and dates for reliable forecasting.
• Prepare proposals, decks and renewal presentations with audience insight and case studies.
• Produce monthly and quarterly performance reporting to support renewals and strategy.
