The Premium Auditor will perform audits of policyholder records, verify classifications, and determine accurate premium amounts while ensuring regulatory compliance. Travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in workers' compensation auditing or premium audits is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Excellent communication with clients and internal teams is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed audits of policyholders' payroll, financial records, and documents to determine correct premium.
• Review financial statements, payroll records, and tax filings to assess risk and accuracy.
• Verify proper classification codes for job types and ensure correct categorization.
• Identify discrepancies between reported and actual operations and investigate significant differences.
• Communicate with clients to gather documentation and resolve issues identified during audits.
• Prepare audit reports detailing findings and recommended premium adjustments.
• Collaborate with underwriting and claims teams to ensure accurate premium assessments.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and changes affecting workers' compensation premiums.
• Ensure audits are completed within timelines and company policies.
