Ategrity Specialty Insurance Company is seeking a detail‑oriented Auditor to join the Premium Audit Team. The role involves reviewing open audits, performing internal audits, and supporting the team with data entry and broker inquiries.
You will communicate findings clearly and help ensure accurate premium pricing across policy periods. Remote work options are available, with reporting to the Premium Audit Manager.
Ategrity Specialty Insurance Company specializes in property, casualty, management liability and professional liability insurance, with a strong emphasis on the excess and surplus (E&S) lines market, partnering with brokers and wholesale agents throughout the U.S. to provide insurance solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Our aim is to establish ourselves as the premier E&S carrier, leveraging robust technical underwriting, intelligent operational efficiencies, sound risk management, dynamic claims team, and intensive specialization to excel in the marketplace.
The Premium Audit Team is responsible for ensuring that the premiums charged for insurance policies accurately reflect the risk that was covered during the policy period by Ategrity. Their goal is to ensure audits are ordered and performed accurately and that audit endorsements are processed expeditiously. The department ensures that all audits are conducted in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies, maintaining accurate records for both internal and external review. If discrepancies arise between the carrier and the policyholder regarding the audit findings, the Premium Audit department may be involved in resolving these disputes. The Premium Audit team works closely with underwriters to provide insights and data that can inform future underwriting decisions, ensuring that the carrier appropriately prices risk.
The Auditor should be prepared to review documents submitted for a potential reopen and/or perform simple audits internally. This role may also provide data entry support as well as other supportive functions including a customer facing role to external customers (brokers/retail agents) in answering general questions via email. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills. This role will work together with the Premium Audit Team lead with other premium audit duties such as reviewing audits and processing endorsements. Eventually, this role will also lead to handling disputes and assisting the manager with vendor management. The role is performed remotely and reports to the Premium Audit Manager.
Ategrity Specialty Insurance Company is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity in the workplace. We encourage candidates from all backgrounds to apply.
