Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required or equivalent experience.
• 1 to 3+ years in accounting, audit, financial analysis, billing, or insurance operations.
• Knowledge of Group Benefits or related insurance products is preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with ability to explain financial findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Analyze census, billing, eligibility, contract, and premium data to validate premium payments align with policy provisions.
• Explain audit outcomes and assist clients, brokers, and TPAs to improve future remittance accuracy.
• Investigate premium discrepancies and document findings for internal review and client communication.
• Recreate premium calculations and validate statements for Self-Bill API clients.
• Review and support approval processes for refunds and revenue adjustments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to research issues and strengthen controls.
• Utilize Excel and large data sets to analyze activity, monitor inventory, and identify root causes.
• Identify process gaps and automation opportunities to improve efficiency and client experience.
• Support company initiatives and evolving audit priorities as assigned.
