Job summary

The Rose Gaming Resort located in Dumfries, Virginia, seeks a Kitchen Steward to maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, china, silver, glassware, pots, pans, and work areas, while replenishing supplies with clean ware. The role reports to the Executive Chef and carries a compensation of $15.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include dishwashing, kitchen sanitation, waste disposal, and adherence to safety, legal, and internal policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, flatware, and glassware.
• Maintain cleanliness of our kitchen including dry storage & walk-in coolers
• Empty kitchen trash receptacles & properly disposes of garbage.
• Perform daily cleaning tasks in kitchen.
• Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
• Break down all Kitchen equipment for cleaning using approved Chemicals by the company.
• Comply with all department and company rules, regulations, policies, procedures, internal controls, and government rules and regulations.
• Replenish supplies with clean ware.
• Perform all duties in a safe and careful manner.
• Other duties as assigned.
