Job summary

Harvard Maintenance is seeking a Cleaner to join our team in Princeton, NJ. You will perform basic cleaning of common areas, restrooms, entrances, and other assigned spaces, using standard cleaning equipment.

We offer multiple shifts with full-time, part-time, and seasonal opportunities. A successful candidate will have at least 1 year of experience, strong communication skills, reliable transportation, and the ability to meet physical demands of the job.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills are required.
• Reliable transportation to and from work sites.
• Must be willing to work assigned hours.
• Capable of performing physical demands (bending, kneeling, lifting, standing).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for basic cleaning of all areas.
• Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Empty trash and recycle bins and dispose of waste properly.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in all areas.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and vacuums.
• Follow health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
