Job summary

You will collaborate on planning a coherent, research-based curriculum, differentiate instruction, and engage families in sustaining a culture of high expectations and active citizenship.

Qualifications

• Willingness to grow practice by collaborating with a lead teacher.

Responsibilities

• Assist a lead classroom teacher to uphold high academic and behavioral standards.
• Plan and implement an inclusive classroom culture with training and dialogue on race and identity.
• Collaborate on planning a coherent, research-based curriculum with shared teaching responsibilities.
• Assist in using assessment data to refine curricula and instruction.
• Differentiate learning through small-group and one-on-one instruction to raise mastery.
• Maintain strong communication with scholars, families, and colleagues.
• Support scholars with supervision and transitions as needed.
• Engage in weekly coaching and data-driven reflection with teams and coach.
• Support scholars’ social and emotional health with the scholar support team.
• Participate in school-wide events and family conferences.
