Job summary

New Horizon Academy on Hennepin Ave in Minneapolis is hiring Childcare Teachers for our PreK classroom. You will help young learners explore, grow, and thrive in a nurturing environment.

The position requires at least 16 qualifying credits or a CDA, a flexible full-time Mon-Fri schedule, and a collaborative, positive attitude. Prior childcare experience is preferred but not required; we value passion for education and continuous improvement.

Hourly wage range: $21.50 - $26.65 (DOQ)

We are seeking Childcare Teachers to join our team at New Horizon Academy Hennepin Ave in the following classrooms:

• PreK

All applicants MUST:

• Have a minimum of 16 qualifying semester credits or a CDA, to be considered teacher-qualified under MN Rule 3.
• Be able to work a flexible, full-time schedule, Monday-Friday.

• Meets or exceeds state qualifications for the listed position.
• Has previous experience in Early Childhood Education or a related field of work.
• Must meet position qualification requirements as outlined by the state department guidelines.
• Can satisfy the Applicant Background Study required by state regulations.
