Job summary

Primrose School of Liberty in Kansas City, MO is seeking a caring Pre-K Teacher to nurture young learners and help them develop foundational skills for kindergarten. You'll create an engaging classroom, plan age-appropriate activities, and support daily routines from breakfast to nap time.

This is a full-time, Monday–Friday role with no weekend shifts. You’ll partner with families, follow our curriculum, and contribute to a warm, safe environment that fosters curiosity and independence.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging, play-based learning experiences that align with curriculum.

• Build positive relationships with children, families and coworkers.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom.
• Document and communicate progress with families as needed.

Pre‑K is an exciting year of growth. Children are becoming more independent, building friendships, asking thoughtful questions, and developing the skills they need to feel confident as they head to kindergarten.

At Primrose School of Liberty, we're looking for a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Pre‑K Teacher to help children learn, explore, and prepare for their next big adventure.

What You'll Do

You'll create an engaging classroom where children can learn through play, hands‑on experiences, and meaningful activities. Your day may include:

• Supporting kindergarten readiness through early literacy, math, science, language, and problem‑solving
• Creating engaging activities through art, music, stories, movement, and hands‑on learning
• Encouraging independence, confidence, creativity, and curiosity
• Supporting children's social‑emotional development and positive relationships
• Following our curriculum while making learning fun and age‑appropriate
• Supporting daily routines including meals, bathroom needs, and rest time
• Building strong relationships with children, families, and coworkers
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom

Schedule

Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

The schedule includes a 1-hour lunch break.

Schedules may occasionally vary based on the needs of the school, classroom coverage, and staff availability. No weekends are required.
