Job summary

The Archdiocese of Seattle seeks caring, engaged substitute teachers for all grades and subjects across our Catholic schools. This pool will be used for daily, weekly, and long-term assignments in PreK–12 settings, with placements determined by school need and applicant interests.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and committed to supporting the development of the Whole Child in a faith-based environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with students in an educational setting.
• Ability to supervise and manage students in a school setting.
• Ability to facilitate classroom instruction and carry out teacher's outlined lesson plan.
• Commitment to working in a Catholic-centric environment.

Responsibilities

• Teach a variety of courses as assigned.
• Abide by school rules, policies, and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with school leadership and other classroom teachers.
• Participate/attend school events when necessary.
