Responsibilities

• Reinforces classroom lessons through one-on-one and small-group support.
• Monitors children in classroom, lunchroom, playground, and after-school care to ensure safety and behavior.
• Assists with setup and cleanup of lunch and activity areas; keeps spaces neat and orderly.
• Fosters a positive, inclusive environment that encourages cooperation and respect.
• Supports structured activities such as games, homework time, crafts, or quiet reading.
• Monitors arrivals and departures with proper sign-in/out procedures.
• Addresses minor behavioral issues using positive behavior strategies and refers concerns as needed.
• Responds to accidents or emergencies per safety protocols.
• Communicates effectively with teachers, administrators, and parents.
