The Special Education Paraprofessional supports students with special needs. This role involves working under the supervision of a special education teacher to implement individualized education plans (IEPs), providing direct assistance to students, and helping create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Salary range is $23.97 – $27.84 per hour dependent upon prior school district experience in the same job classification. (An additional 75 cents ($.75) per hour is available for an individual with an AA degree, 1 dollar ($1.00) per hour for a BA degree and 25 cents ($.25) per hour for 50 clock hours.)
