Job summary

Primrose School at Sugarloaf Parkway-East in Lawrenceville, GA is seeking an experienced Private Prek Lead Teacher to plan and implement a comprehensive early childhood program. You will promote social, emotional, cognitive and physical development following the Primrose Balanced Learning® approach.

The role requires delivering engaging activities, maintaining a well-kept classroom, and collaborating with staff while meeting regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Must meet basic requirements of local child care regulatory agency.
• Previous teaching or assistant teaching position in a licensed early childhood program preferred.
• Knowledge of the social, emotional and creative needs of young children.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily supervision and class functions for a group of children.
• Observe health, safety and care regulations at the school and with regulatory agencies.
• Assess each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis.
• Implement approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule per Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum.
• Plan parent-teacher conferences and student evaluations with Leadership Team.
