Job summary

Cadence Education in Rogers, AR seeks a Preschool Lead Teacher to create a warm, inclusive classroom environment and lead daily activities supporting children’s development. Under the School Director, you’ll implement Cadence programs and collaborate with families and staff.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Must meet state licensing requirements for Lead Teachers in a licensed childcare center.
• 6–12 months of early childhood or classroom experience preferred, depending on education and credentials.
• CDA, CCP, EEC or NAC credential acceptable per licensing requirements.
• Background clearances and health screenings required.
• Flexibility in scheduling; shifts may vary and are not guaranteed.

• Build positive, professional relationships with children and families.
• Recognize and respond to diverse developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs (IEPs, behavior plans).
• Plan, implement, and document developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Use Cadence systems and communicate with families, coworkers, and leadership.
• Maintain a safe, well-supervised classroom following safety manual.
• Document accidents and incidents per policy and licensing.
• Follow Cadence Education policies and participate in trainings and meetings.
