Facility Solutions Group, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Foreman in the Prefab Department to supervise crews assembling electrical components for construction projects. You will oversee daily production, assign work, ensure quality and safety, and help keep projects on schedule.

The role requires a Journeyman License, driving license, and strong leadership and communication skills. Prior experience on ground-up projects and lighting is a plus; EEO obligations apply.

Qualifications

  • Active Journeyman License.
  • Ability to multitask while staying organized.

  • Experience leading crews or foreman on ground-up construction.
  • Lighting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for all FSG Electric field trades on an electrical construction crew or project.
  • Work with Project Manager on estimates and take-offs.
  • Lay out work for subordinate leads and ensure proper materials and manpower.
  • Establish work schedules and man-loading charts.
  • Direct crews in installation of feeders, pumps, motors, switch gear, panels, lighting, and terminations.
  • Monitor progress and schedule work with other trades.
  • Oversee safety training and enforce safety protocols on site.
  • Handle administrative paperwork and daily reports.

Overview

As an Electrical Foreman in FSG’s Prefab Department, you will be responsible for supervising and leading crews involved in the fabrication and assembly of electrical components and systems used to support our construction projects. This role will oversee daily production activities, assign work, ensure quality and safety standards are met, and help keep projects on schedule.We are looking for career-minded candidates who are willing to learn and grow with the company.

Responsibilities
  • Be responsible for all FSG Electric field trades on an electrical construction crew or project.
  • Do a working estimate and take-off jointly with the Project Manager.
  • Lays out work for subordinate lead persons, and is jointly responsible with the Project Manager for having material, tools, equipment, information, and appropriate manpower in the proper place in a timely fashion.
  • Establishes work schedules and man-loading charts.
  • Directs subordinate crew in installation of electrical feeders; equipment such as pumps, motors, and generators; control and distribution apparatus such as switch gear, relays, and circuit breaker panels; lighting fixtures and outlets; and related connections and terminations.
  • Monitors work as performed, directs subordinate crews, and schedules work according to the pace of the job and other trades.
  • May perform work being supervised for either production or instruction.
  • Handles or oversees the disposition of required office correspondence and administrative paperwork such as official forms, daily reports, time sheets/tickets, safety reports, etc.
  • Is responsible for crew or project safety performance. Assures employees are properly trained or instructed in the performance of duties to which assigned. Assures compliance with all FSG Electric safety processes and protocols. Investigates or assist in the investigation and reporting of any accident or safety incidents involving job site employees.

Pay Range
