Job summary

Facility Solutions Group, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Prefab Electrical Apprentice in our San Antonio team. This role focuses on training new trade electricians for 6 months to a year before moving to a field position.

You will bend conduit, spool wire, label and wire panels, and adhere to safety standards while learning multiple hand and power tools. A State Apprentice Electrician License and Propel Apprentice Program participation are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Current State Apprentice Electrician's License required.
• Must attend Propel Apprentice Program (provided by FSG).
• Must pass a background screen.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Bend conduit.
• Spool wire.
• Make labels and wire panels.
• Adhere to all safety standards and procedures.
• Be able to sit/stand for extended periods.
• Lift up to 75 lbs safely.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools.
• Other prefab tasks as assigned.

Job Description

As a Prefab Electrical Apprentice you will successfully produce quality assemblies for construction sites. The ideal candidate will be career-oriented, bring solid ideas and be able to hit the ground running.

This is an entry level role focused on training new trade electricians for 6 months to a year before moving to a field position.

The Prefab Electrical Apprentice will

• Bend conduit
• Spool wire
• Make labels and wire panels
• Adhere to all safety standards and procedures
• Be able to withstand prolonged sitting and standing
• Be able to safely lift up to75 lbs.
• Use of multiple different types of hand and power tools.
• Other prefab tasks as assigned.
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree
• MUST have Current State Apprentice Electricians License
• MUST attend Propel Apprentice Program (provided by FSG)
• MUST be able to pass a background screen
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to multitask while staying organized
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Positive customer service skills
