Job summary

Ai2’s AllenNLP team is seeking a creative, early-career Predoctoral Young Investigator with a strong interest in language-model based AI and NLP. You will collaborate with Ai2 researchers, co-author papers, and learn how to leverage Ai2’s data, tools, and infrastructure to advance open NLP research.

This program positions candidates for a top graduate program, with mentorship and opportunities to contribute to cutting-edge projects in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, with a desire to enter a PhD program in the next 1–3 years.
• Willingness to align with AI2’s Open Language Model initiatives and collaborate with researchers.
• Interest in language-model based AI and NLP research.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate directly with Ai2 researchers to gain research experience.
• Co‑author papers with Ai2 researchers and publish in top venues.
• Learn Ai2’s data, engineering infrastructure, and research tools.
