Job summary

We Search People is assisting a Cincinnati-based general contractor in finding an experienced Preconstruction Manager to lead the early project phases from concept through GMP. The role focuses on cost estimation, budgeting, bid management, and collaboration with clients, architects, and internal teams.

The candidate will identify value engineering opportunities, coordinate procurement, and ensure a smooth handover to operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in Preconstruction / Estimating within commercial construction.
• Strong background in ground-up and renovation commercial projects.
• Proven ability to manage budgets from conceptual through final pricing.
• Experience with software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar.

This is a key hire within the business, offering long-term stability, clear progression, and the opportunity to work on high-profile commercial builds.
