Job summary

Metric DCX in Atlanta is seeking a Senior Estimator to join its healthcare practice. You will analyze drawings, specs, and proposals to build accurate time, cost, and labor estimates, lead multi-discipline estimates, and mentor other estimators.

You’ll review subcontractor quotes, manage risk and contracts, and help shape minority participation strategies while ensuring end-to-end estimate accuracy and lessons learned for future bids.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of estimating and cost control experience.
• Degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field — or equivalent experience.
• Comfort leading or contributing within a multi-project, multi-pursuit environment.
• Working knowledge of On-Screen Takeoff, Excel, and Bluebeam.
• Sharp organizational and time-management skills — you can juggle without dropping anything.
• A detail-oriented, technically sound approach backed by strong communication.
• Fluency in conceptual, detailed, and self-perform estimating.
• Familiarity with the local subcontractor market is a plus.

Responsibilities
