Job summary

Expert MRI is seeking a full-time X-Ray Technologist in Culver City, CA. The role involves performing X-ray procedures, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with radiologists to obtain high-quality images.

The position requires an ARRT licensure, California state licensure, and an accredited X-ray tech program. Schedule is Tuesday to Saturday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with a pay range of $40–$50 per hour and full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school or equivalent experience.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Graduate of a certified school of X-ray technology.
• Registered ARRT licensure and California state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Interviews patient to explain X-ray imaging procedures and ensures removal of metal objects for imaging.
• Prevents unauthorized entry during X-ray scanning.
• Positions patient and adjusts as per radiologist specifications to obtain diagnostic images.
• Maintains communication with patient to ensure comfort and cooperation during exam.
• Enters patient history and imaging details into the computer and selects appropriate views.

Education

Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school

Basic Life Support Certified by American Heart Association

Graduate of a certified school of X-ray technology

Registered as a fully licensed X-ray technologist by ARRT

Holds required licensure by the state of California
