Job summary

Aermican Orthodontics is seeking a detail-oriented Wire Assembler to manufacture arch wires from raw material into finished goods. You will operate wire-wrapping and ultrasonic machinery, and perform precision measurements.

You will inspect size/shape, laser-mark IDs, and manage material flow with scanners while maintaining safety and quality. This role requires basic reading, math and computer skills, and the ability to stand long shifts in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic reading, math and computer skills.
• Experience with calipers, micrometers, toolmakers microscope.
• 2 years' experience in direct manufacturing.
• Must be able to stand for up to 8 to 10 hours per day.
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
• Must be able to look at small parts for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Operate a machine to wrap wire onto a mandrel, salt bath processing, cutting and deburring.
• Run multiple ultrasonic machines.
• Use a computer to laser mark ID lines onto the wires.
• Inspect wires for size, shape, and any defects.
• Scale material and issue material to work order using a scanner.
• Take measurements of wire using a micrometer or caliper.
• Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.
