Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking a full-time Automotive Alignment Technician to join Team Mavis in the Middletown, DE area. Technicians align tires and wheels, measure and adjust angles to improve tire life and vehicle stability, and perform basic maintenance tasks.

Qualified candidates will have at least 18 years old, eligibility to work in the United States, and 1 year of tire service experience; a state inspection license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Minimum 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or equivalent.
• State inspection license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use equipment to align tires and wheels; adjust caster, camber, toe and thrust angles.
• Reduce tire wear and ensure vehicles travel straight and true.
• Complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs as needed.
