Job summary

Forma-Fab Metals in North Carolina is seeking a welder/fabricator to join our shop team. You will weld and fabricate parts per specifications using MIG and TIG equipment, read blueprints, and ensure quality with good penetration.

The role requires HS education and at least 2 years of welding experience, ability to read tapes, rulers, and welding symbols, and readiness to work overtime. A welding test will be part of the application process.

Qualifications

• Able to weld heavy and light gauge carbon steel, aluminum, and stainless.
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding process specs, and symbols.
• Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment with good penetration and quality.

Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate parts per specifications.
• Analyze drawings and work orders to plan welding operations.
• Set up, troubleshoot, and adjust welding equipment.
• Layout, position, align, and secure parts before welding.
• Enter and maintain data in ERP system.
