Job summary

Aerotek in Dothan, AL seeks a Welder to perform MIG and TIG welding on diverse parts, reading blueprints and meeting tight tolerances. You will fabricate assemblies, measure materials, and operate welding equipment and overhead cranes. A strong safety mindset and attention to quality are essential.

The role is contract-to-hire with first shift hours, onsite in Dothan. Pay ranges from $18 to $23 per hour, with benefits after introductory periods and a 401(k) plan available.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding on various materials.
• Ability to read blueprints and verify tolerances.
• Strong measurement skills using a tape measure and safe operation of equipment.

Responsibilities

• MIG welding on varied materials with precision.
• Fabricate parts and assemblies per specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Measure materials to meet tolerances with tape.
• Operate welding equipment and overhead cranes; maintain gear.
• Lif to 50 lbs and keep a clean, safe work area.
• Inspect welds for quality and conformance; perform TIG welding as needed.
