Wells Concrete Products, Inc. in Kissimmee, FL seeks a Welder/Fabricator who can read blueprints, fit parts, and weld to precise tolerances. You will operate fabrication equipment, handle materials, and support production with high-quality assemblies.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years welding/fabrication experience required.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
• Ability to use measuring devices, such as calipers, micrometers, tape measures, depth gauges, and fixed gauges.

Responsibilities

• Position, align, fit, and weld parts to form units or subassemblies using blueprints, jigs, and hand tools.
• Study engineering drawings and layouts to determine material requirements and sequence of work.
• Move, lift, and position materials using cranes, hoists, or manual handling methods.
• Lay out, mark, and verify workpieces using measuring tools such as squares, rulers, and tape measures.
• Tack-weld, cut, grind, and prepare metal components to meet specification requirements.
• Operate fabrication equipment including brakes, shears, rollers, drill presses, grinders, and cutting torches.
• Straighten, shape, and adjust metal parts using hammers, presses, torches, and other hand tools.
• Set up and use jigs, fixtures, face blocks, and templates for accurate assembly and fabrication.
• Remove defects such as high spots and bevel edges using grinding, filing, and cutting tools
• Ensure all finished work meets quality and dimensional standards through inspection and adjustment
