Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced fabricator to fabricate and assemble miscellaneous metals for multiple projects. You will set up machines, welds, and inspect parts while following strict safety standards and project specs.

Requires reading shop drawings, working with teams, and maintaining quality control on site. Essential duties include operating brakes, rollers, shears, flame cutters, drill presses, welding equipment, and various lifting devices; ensuring tools and PPE

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in fabrication shop or similar environment.
• Fabrication certificate or related training preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints.
• Pre-employment test related to trade specialty may be required.
• Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools used in construction and fabrications.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble sheet metal products per plans and specs.
• Set up and operate fabricating machines and welding equipment.
• Verify conformance to specifications using basic measuring tools.
• Coordinate with team, vendors, and supervisors to maintain quality and safety.
• Track production and maintain safe, efficient work practices.
