Job summary

Sid Wainer is seeking a Receiver/Inspector to ensure incoming products meet quality, quantity, and temperature standards. You will verify deliveries against invoices and packing slips, complete required forms, and resolve discrepancies in a fast-paced food service environment.

The role requires 2+ years of receiving experience, knowledge of food safety guidelines (USDA/FDA) and allergen awareness. Proficiency with pallet jacks and forklifts is helpful, with collaboration across QA and operations

Qualifications

• 2+ years of receiving experience.
• Knowledge of safe food handling and allergen awareness is preferred.
• Familiarity with USDA/FDA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Receive products from vendors and verify against PO/packing slips.
• Ensure quantity and quality meet standards; complete required paperwork.
• Troubleshoot discrepancies and coordinate FDA inspections as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of receiving area and ensure GMP practices.
• Collaborate with QA to ensure food safety policies are followed.
