Job summary

Peach State Truck Centers is seeking a warehouse associate to receive, store, and distribute materials in the parts warehouse. You will unload trucks, check in merchandise, and distribute items to sales associates for processing.

The role requires reading orders, moving items between receiving, storage and shipping areas, and assembling customer orders. You will also participate in counts and ensure safety and accessibility of the warehouse.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations and inventory handling.
• Ability to read customer orders, work orders, and requisitions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with unloading trucks, checking in merchandise and distributing to sales associates.
• Read orders and determine items to move, gather or ship.
• Move items within receiving, storage, or shipping areas.
• Sort and place items on racks or bins by size, type, or code.
• Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for staff.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place on pallets or shelves.
• Mark materials with identifying information.
• Assist in counting physical inventory and cycles counts.
