Job summary

Scott Electric Company in Crafton, PA is hiring a Warehouse Checker to verify outgoing orders in our electrical wholesale operation. You will compare picked items with invoices, check part numbers, quantities, and specs, and ensure correct labeling and packaging.

You will use WMS and RF scanners, maintain accurate records, assist with cycle counts, and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse or distribution preferred in electrical wholesale or industrial supply.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to read invoices, part numbers and product specifications.

Responsibilities

• Verify picked orders against sales invoices, packing slips, or pick tickets.
• Confirm correct product descriptions, part numbers, quantities, and specifications.
• Inspect materials for damage, defects, or missing components before shipment.
• Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and documentation for delivery or pickup.
• Check special orders and backorders for completeness and accuracy.
• Communicate discrepancies or shortages to warehouse staff and supervisors.
• Assist in maintaining organized staging areas for outbound shipments.
• Follow safety procedures when handling electrical materials and equipment.
• Use WMS, RF scanners, or ERP software to confirm order accuracy.
• Support cycle counts and inventory audits as needed.
