Job summary

SunSource’s Automation & Factory Solutions division is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations in Michigan. You will handle receiving, stocking, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management in a safe, organized environment.

Essential duties include inspecting shipments, verifying against packing slips, accurate order fulfillment, and operating forklifts/pallet jacks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory, order fulfillment, or material-handling experience preferred.
• Forklift experience or certification preferred.
• Basic computer skills, including data entry and order/inventory tracking.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Dependable and reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Ability and willingness to learn new processes and assist with a variety of warehouse and assembly activities.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and established safety procedures.
• Ability to safely perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
• Verify goods against packing slips and purchase orders and record inventory.
• Store items in proper locations and keep warehouse organized.
• Pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Load orders onto trucks and prepare shipping documents.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with counts.
• Identify and report discrepancies or damaged materials.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
• Maintain clean, organized, hazard-free work areas.
• Support general warehouse and assembly activities as needed.
• Collaborate with team to meet productivity and accuracy goals.
• Follow safety policies and report issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
