Qualifications

• Visual/Dimensional inspection skills demonstrated by classroom training or work experience.
• Ability to read and interpret specs on Tech Cards and other materials; perform arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspection to identify surface defects and ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Use templates, micrometers, height gauges, calipers, ultrasound to measure and verify castings.
• Support engineering by reporting dimensional issues and aiding in non-conformance resolution.
• Adhere to safety rules and operate equipment properly; log and record data as required.
• Provide training and direction to others while performing tasks as assigned.
