Job summary

Lowen Corporation in Hutchinson, KS is seeking a 2nd Shift Machine Operator- Sheeting to join our production team. You will set up, maintain, and operate machinery to keep color graphic vinyl production running smoothly and efficiently.

You must follow safety procedures, read job travelers, identify vinyl types, and minimize waste. The role offers a hands-on, fast-paced environment with opportunities to learn and train others on equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating or setting up production machinery.
• Ability to read job travelers and maintain quality.
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures and safe lifting techniques
• Read and understand the job traveler
• Identify different vinyls and sheeting correctly
• Clock on/off jobs correctly and enter quantities accurately
• Troubleshoot and correct problems when they occur
• Set up and run equipment independently
• Issue material as required and minimize waste
• Maintain accuracy in measurements and job performance
• Work with little supervision
• Help troubleshoot job-related errors and assist others with solutions
• May be required to learn/train others on equipment
• Maintain a neat and clean work area
• Determine if equipment is not operating properly
• Set up machines at the beginning of shift
