Responsibilities include operating locator systems, marking locations, coordinating with supervisors and contractors, and maintaining safety standards across outdoor work environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of telecommunications experience required.
• 3+ years of experience utilizing geophysical multi-frequency locate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Searches for underground utilities, marks location, and completes paperwork to finish Locate.
• Operates locator systems for installation of underground telecom cable conduit including fiber optic cable.
• Ensures public safety and compliance with safety codes on jobsite.
• Coordinates projects, schedules, and budgets time for locate tickets.
• Maintains equipment and inventory; submits material requests as needed.
• Communicates with landowners to resolve easements issues.
