Job summary

Precision Tune Auto Care in Gaithersburg, MD seeks skilled Automotive Technicians to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles while delivering top-notch customer service.

We offer competitive hourly pay, medical/dental/vision insurance, PTO, evenings and Sundays off, and seven paid holidays. Candidates should have a high school diploma and at least 6 months of certified-tech experience with 4 ASE certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience as a certified technician or mechanic.
• 4 ASE certifications required: Brakes & Steering/Suspension, plus 2 more from A1, A6, A7, A8, or L1.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair brakes, suspension, engines, electrical systems, HVAC, emissions, and more.
• Educate customers on their vehicle’s issues and solutions.
• Keep your shop running efficiently and maintain high productivity.
• Work safely and follow all company policies and standards.
• Support your team by providing technical guidance when needed.
• Stay up-to-date with training and certifications.

What You’ll Do:

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, and reaching.
• Operate a vehicle and use computer systems for service documentation.
