Global Expedited Transportation is seeking a Transportation Quality & Load Securement Inspector to ensure shipment integrity, loading safety, and damage-free delivery for concrete pile projects. This role reports to the Operations Manager and works at Geismar, LA, with loading in Pass Christian, MS and delivery in Donaldsonville, LA.

You will inspect pre-loading readiness, monitor securement, verify PODs and records, and coordinate across dispatch, drivers, and customer reps to uphold quality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in quality inspection or transportation operations preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work in outdoor loading/unloading areas.

Responsabilités

• Pre-Loading Inspection & Shipment Readiness: inspect piles for defects, verify IDs and traceability, confirm storage and readiness.
• Loading Safety & Securement: monitor loading, ensure proper stacking, bracing, and cargo securement; verify equipment suitability.
• Arrival Inspection & Delivery Verification: inspect at arrival, check for damage, confirm POD and delivery status.
• Unloading Supervision & Damage Prevention: monitor unloading, prevent secondary damage, ensure proper placement.
• Documentation, POD & Quality Records: maintain inspection docs, POD, photos, and real-time records; ensure accuracy.
