Crown Personnel Services Inc is seeking a skilled machinist to operate horizontal milling centers, including HMCs and boring mills, in Clayton, Ohio. You will read complex blueprints, set up tools and fixtures, and edit CNC programs to achieve exact tolerances.

Candidates should have 1–5+ years of hands-on CNC or manual milling experience, a high school diploma or GED, and formal machinist training. Strong math skills and GD&T knowledge are essential for success in this role.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED; apprenticeship or trade/technical certification in tool & die is preferred.
• 1–5+ years of hands-on experience setting up and operating CNC or manual horizontal milling machines.
• Strong mathematical aptitude (geometry, trigonometry), blueprint reading, and understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.

Mansioni

• Read and interpret complex blueprints, CAD models, and technical schematics to fabricate and repair precision tools.
• Set up, align, and secure raw materials, fixtures, clamps, and tombstones on horizontal milling centers.
• Load, edit, and troubleshoot CNC programs (G-code) and adjust tool offsets, feeds, and speeds to achieve exact tolerances.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections using precision measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, height gauges).
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize tool designs and resolve fabrication issues.
