Job summary

The position is for backfill of a technician, with indefinite duration and potential conversion, and requires working within a National Guard unit and maintaining calibration records in TAMMS/TIMMS.

Qualifications

• Experience calibrating and repairing TMDE per manuals and technical bulletins.
• Ability to interpret engineering manuals, standards, and calibration procedures.
• Knowledge of radiation monitoring equipment and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate and repair TMDE per manuals and bulletins.
• Set up test sets and diagnose equipment faults.
• Isolate faults by measurements across voltage, current, impedance, and other specs.
• Disassemble, inspect, and replace defective parts and assemblies.
• Maintain TAMMS and TIMMS records; perform calibration reports and radiation surveys.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
