Qualifications

Proven experience as a tiler or similar role.
Experience with ceramic, porcelain, marble tiles.
Familiarity with tiling techniques (floor/wall, mosaic).
Ability to read design plans and follow instructions.
Physical stamina to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

Measure and cut tiles to fit specific areas using specialized tools.
Prepare surfaces for tiling by cleaning, leveling and applying adhesive.
Install tiles in various patterns according to design plans.
Ensure tiles are properly aligned and level using levels and spacers.
Grout tiles and clean excess grout from surfaces.
Repair or replace damaged or broken tiles as needed.
Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences for the project.
Keep track of materials used and maintain inventory levels.
