Aerotek in Chaska, MN is seeking an experienced TIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. You will weld stainless and carbon steel components for custom radiator assemblies, reading blueprints, and working with thin-gauge materials to ensure leak-free, high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of TIG welding experience with stainless steel.
• Experience welding thin-gauge materials with tight tolerances.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Familiarity with grinders, drills, measuring tools, and fabrication equipment.
• Ability to perform precise welds on small parts and components.
• Welding school certification or technical training.
• 3+ years of TIG welding experience.
• Experience with TIG and MIG welding.
• Experience in metal fabrication, radiator manufacturing, or custom assemblies.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision TIG welding on stainless and carbon steel components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
• Prepare, fit, align, and assemble parts prior to welding.
• Weld thin-gauge materials while maintaining high-quality standards and appearance.
• Connect radiator tubing and components to create leak-free assemblies.
• Inspect finished welds and perform repairs or adjustments as needed.
• Use hand and power tools including grinders, drills, cutters, and measuring instruments.
• Maintain accurate workmanship while working in various welding positions.
• Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and efficient.
