Ultimate Staffing is seeking a skilled welder for our production team in Baltimore, MD. The role focuses on manual TIG welding of stainless steel and other metals for both custom and high-volume production.

Responsibilities include interpreting fabrication drawings, setting up TIG equipment, and ensuring quality through inspections and precise measurement. Safety, documentation, and collaboration with supervisors are essential to meet schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of MIG welding experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Able to read and interpret complex fabrication blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual TIG welding on stainless steel, steel, and wire assemblies for custom and high-volume production jobs.
• Interpret full fabrication drawings, including dimensions, tolerances, and weld symbols.
• Set up, adjust, and operate TIG welding equipment based on job requirements.
• Use precision measuring tools such as gauges, tape measures, calipers, and micrometers to verify product conformance.
• Complete traveler documentation accurately and in real time.
• Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
• Identify, document, and communicate nonconformances, working closely with the Quality Department to resolve issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while following all safety procedures.
• Comply with company quality systems and manufacturing standards.
• Follow documented procedures and work instructions in alignment with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 requirements.
• Collaborate with supervisors and lead operators to meet production schedules and quality expectations.
